Signs

One of the really fun things about traveling 2500 miles by car across 8 states is all the signs we came across. On my next cross-country road trip, I plan to keep a journal of all the names of towns that amuse me or befuddle me as I wonder how it is pronounced.  I also hope to do a better job of capturing pictures of signs.  Here are a few signs I did get on this trip.

In Oklahoma I followed the sign to Will Rodgers birthplace.
At the end of the road, we found a sign that it was closed.

This was a funny signs in the Wizard of Oz Museum

Saw this sign just a few minutes before I saw this. . . .

The population here isn't as high as one might think.

This next one was my favorite
A few minutes later saw men in orange jumpsuits working in a large garden,
but no one was looking for a ride.
